Even though there are several rumors and unexpected changes and developments surrounding the existence and progress of English Football at the moment, it still does not stop the fact that clubs will need to sign players in the summer, regardless of their current position on the table. That’s the case of English Premier League side Leeds United, who are reportedly set to be one of the clubs who will be looking to sign players in the summer.
Hence, Leeds have started scouting for players they will be looking to sign in the summer and have summed up a list of these transfer targets which contains the name of one Arsenal star. According to reports, Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa is very much interested in the idea of signing Arsenal’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles and has told the club’s board to try and sign the player as soon as possible.
The Arsenal star is currently playing for West Bromwich Albion and joined the Baggies on loan last summer, but has been a different player since his move. The 23-year-old may well secure a permanent exit from the Emirates, with Mikel Arteta not sure whether the England midfielder is in his plans. Leeds would be getting themselves an interesting signing if the deal goes through, as the player is one hungry lad who will add some more options to the squad.
